Jodie just completed BERNSTEINS MASS at Carngie Hall/The Baltimore Symphony and The Kennedy Center. She was also just awarded 2008 “Excellence in Performance” for her starring role in the New York Musical Theater Festival’s Production of I Come For Love. Currently, Jodie is in the Off Broadway production of Sessions.

Jodie premiered on Broadway as the role of Cosette in Les Miserables while still attending NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and later went on to play the role of Eponine. Her Broadway tour credits include the role of Bertrande in the Pre-Broadway tour of Martin Guerre, the Narrator in the National Tour of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, and Grizabella in the National Tour of CATS, where she was the youngest person to ever portray the role. Regional credits include: Eva Peron in Evita at the Aladdin Hotel/Casino in Las Vegas and The North Carolina Theater, Robin in the revival of Smile, Fanny Brice in Funny Girl, Chess at Paper Mill Playhouse directed by Rob Marshall, leading roles at the Eugene O Neill Theater Conference directed by Bobby Longbottom, and the West-Coast premiere of The Thing about Men. Jodie has been a featured lead soloist for President Clinton, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, the Colorado Springs Symphony Orchestra, the celebrated Lyric and Lyricists series at the 92nd Street YMCA, and the Mets/Yankees Subway Series! Jodie had the distinct honor of singing the National Anthem at the re-opening of the American Stock Exchange alongside Governor Pataki and New York City's firefighters and policeman. Jodie also was awarded “Best National Anthem Singer of 2007” by the Mets. Television appearances include FX’s “Rescue Me”, CNN and a host for the TV show “Singing Scentsations”.

Jodie is the co-author of the book “MAKING IT ON BROADWAY: ACTORS' TALES OF CLIMBING TO THE TO THE TOP”, with a forward by Jason Alexander. The book is a candid, behind the scenes, and sometimes shocking look at Broadway's stars and is comprised of her interviews with such notables as Jason Alexander, Brooke Shields, Chita Rivera, Deborah Gibson, Ann Miller, Antonio Banderas, Donna Murphy, and Idina Menzel. Jodie personally interviewed each of these Broadway stars as they shared their personal stories and struggles of climbing to the top. This book has been a top seller for four years and is required reading at the top conservatories around the country. Jodie has also been featured on CNN, NPR and top radio programs all over the country talking about “Making it on Broadway”.

Jodie was one of the head teachers at the American Idol Camp. She holds an M.F.A in Acting from U.C.L.A.and a B.F.A from Tisch School of the Arts. She has taught at U.C.L.A, The New School for Drama, Niagara University and the Seth Riggs Vocal Camp in Los Angeles. Currently, is adjunct professor of Musical Theater at Jersey City University. She teaches all over the country with her Sold out program Making it on Broadway.
