How do I get on Broadway?
Broadway, like everything else, is a business. I believe there are four components you have to master in order to get there. These are: Image, Material, Technique and the Audition. The AUDITION is the most important. If you don't have good audition skills, you won't get hired. PERIOD. This is what I will teach you the most. So you go in and give the best possible audition you can.

Do you coach individually or in a class situation? Who is eligible?
I coach individually in my studio in Boca Raton and on Skype, and will tailor the audition to the specific needs of the student. I also teach master classes and workshops around the country. If you are a high school student, an aspiring Broadway performer, auditioning for a conservatory or any individual that is looking to better their audition skills and GET THE PART, then this is the technique for you.

If there was one sentence that stated what you teach, what would it be?
Audition and get the part.

Why?
Because auditioning contains a lot more elements than one may think. I will go through with each student each of the four elements that I believe make a great audition and then they can go in with the confidence to get that BROADWAY SHOW!

What makes you different than other teachers that are out there?

Hey. I can only speak for myself. After being in four Broadway shows, writing a book about Broadway and getting my Masters degree from UCLA, I am in the perfect position to teach and give to others what I spent ten years learning. I am a working actor and I am friends with many of the leading casting directors on Broadway right now. And most importantly...I absolutely love it.

How do I pay for lessons?

I accept checks or cash before each lesson.  If you purchase a group of 10 lessons, you will receive $50 off.

What do you teach?

Vocal Technique, Repertoire-Build Your Book, Acting Your Song, Audition Technique, giving each student sheet music AND tracks to their songs, Acting (monologues), College Audition Prep, Adult Singing, and most importantly, confidence.  All of my students will have a book of songs, with sheet music I've given them, a good basis of vocal technique, a mastery of how to ACT their songs, a solid audition technique (knowing tips and tricks) and will be ready and prepared for ANY audition, whether it's high school, Thespians, an upcoming show or program, a Broadway audition or anything they need to prepare for.

Do you assist students with performance or job opportunities or meeting casting directors?

I do.  I have many connections with Broadway casting directors and agents, and will help my students land jobs or get agents when appropriate.  I also know many heads of the top college programs, so that is an asset, as well.
